The butcher's archive - Incomplete

The butcher's archive - Incomplete

A Poem by Treason and Metal

The butcher's archive
Full of gore
Filled with cannibalistic jive
The stuff of late night lore

A cover fills her belly
Fills it full of life and death
Her heart melts like jelly
But the butcher's knife has left the hearth

The woman tarries for many moons
She is an epitome of radiant beauty
But our butcher content to watch her swoons,
Sharpens his knife, making haste and ready

Finally, the elation gave way to pain
The woman wants to deliver her cover
The butcher's awaits his gain
See now, his slithering matches his snicker
