So, how do you feel?A Poem by TraxlerFrom the collection, Mono no aware by Tylor TraxlerSo, how do you feel? I feel fine thanks for asking Besides this bottle I’m grasping And a whirlwind of questions you ask me I conducted ocular orchestras With the girl that just passed me Darting round layers of sunsets And days of unrest, hearts jumping from our chests So, how do you feel? I feel like, Mornings of humidity That lead to afternoons of fluidity Wrapped in covers of humility Where we loved without question From 2011 to infinity Please pardon that soliloquy I get so wrapped in in thought I usually tend to be... More timidly pursuant In my search for congruence Not to say your questions are a nuisance But I’m only human, in working to sound like I’m fluent So, how do you feel? Why don’t you ask me again? It’s like you’re prying, or dying To see this play to the end I suppose I’ll just be honest I just haven’t been myself since August I’ve been more modest in feelings And holding it in for the longest I’m not flawless, I know you’re astonished I just hate that this rawness stays locked in these sonnets That was good right? I see the appeal of this ordeal But let’s be real in our ideals Yea, so, how do you feel?
