The Immortal.A Story by Beth Shade"I can't sit here and whine that my life was hard- I mean everyone's life was hard," the calico haired male said sitting Indian style across from the white coated lady, "everyone's life is hard. And it's all in different ways. That's not my problem doc!" His fingers intertwine with each other as he looks up at the lady blinking as his mismatched eyes stared blindly over his glasses. "My problem is that....I survived." Through the one way mirror a nurse looks at the elderly do...ctor with concern. Before her lips shaped the question he told her, "This patience took twelve bullets to the skull and made a full recovery as if he hadn't been touched. A building fell on him when he was nine and he walked away from the paramedics- they never found him. He's sixteen now. He suffers from sever MPD and the three personalities are fully aware of each other to the point of conversing and arguing." "Other than that he has anxiety, insanity, and several drug addictions," he finished with a sigh. "Nothing in his entity gives reason for his so called "immortality"." "Which patient is this doctor?" she asked him more curiously. "Simon James Walker," he uttered. The old man nodded eyes fixed on the boy through the one way mirror. "Exactly."
