Sunsets Like Raindrops

I watched the sunset on the ocean

colors so vibrant red, purple, and blue

and it's said the truth about devotion

is found in a place where I am standing next to you

but the answers that I find bring emptiness

I am left to fight this battle alone

and all I really need is happiness

but I've lost my way and I am shivering from the cold

rain falls like tears on a summer day

when the rain falls, I wish it would wash this pain away

but the questions that I have are surfacing
