I saw my life dance at my fingertips

just out of reach I can't grab hold of it

It's hard to let go. Even in broken and lost love no matter the pain Something positive brought you together in the first place. I think often the inability to let go of a past love is we all hold that one moment of love closer than anything else in the relationship. Nicely done.
