The Roads We Know

The Roads We Know

A Poem by Travis Mitchell

Cars that pass by

People that look on

Wildlife that Remain Oblivious

A world living in denial

A mind in Motion

A Heart with Rhythm

A Spirit with Passion

Never in Denial of what or who it may pass by and will forever look on.

Never oblivious to the never ending movement

All seeming to travel in different directions.

Some directions seemingly unlabeled even on the best compass.

But all directions on a road leading to a common destination

A Place of Smiles.

A Place of Love.

A Place of Freedom.

A Place of Hope.

A place so distant.

Yet so close.

But we realize. It's not a place.

It's Home.

It's What makes a Subaru A Subaru
