Heading Into The Unknown

Heading Into The Unknown

A Poem by Travie
"

I wrote this on a dark Spring night.

"
How many breaths are in a life,
Full of pain and sorrow,
The dagger stabs deeper
With every day that passes.

Sleep brings hope of a new day,
But days are burning hell on Earth,
There must be a way to stop this pain,
Maybe I'm just taking life in vein.

People say keep holding on,
Telling me that I'm strong.
I say I've been strong too long,
That I can't hold on any longer.

With these final words I say,
It is time for me to sail away,
Into the abyss of my dreams,
A beautiful and happier life.

Easy to give in, harder to go forward. I believe disappointment teaches us. To become stronger. The poem had a sad edge. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry. Left the reader with something to think about.

Our days sometimes reflect the message of our dreams. But we wonder whether we are listening. Nice ...

Sometimes it is hard to continue but like good times bad times also do not last forever.
