Love Crashes Down

This is a poem I wrote when I was bored one night.

It f***s you up, 

It won't stop until you break, 

It likes to torture the soul, 

And it loves to take control.

It's like a roller coaster, 

Taking me down twisty turns, 

So much for the straight and narrow, 

It can make your smile shine like the sun, 

But it can also make your tears fall like rain, 

Sometimes it will give you all the world, 

Others, it will give you nothing to lose. 

It's the monster in our souls, 

It's what keeps us going strong, 

It's such a beautiful disaster, 

This thing that we call love.
