After starting my career in military I got into a rough patch financially and etc and this is about quitting and trying to get a better job or waiting a little and get paid better with time.

At first, a good idea I thought

Financial success 

Rank, and Respect

Discipline, and health

If only I had known

Wrong I was

Defeated I felt

Pain, Suffering

That was the beginning

If only I had known

Join I did

With frivolous dreams

Of incredible success

For the family I love

If only I had known

That away I'd be

Separated, Alone, Sad

Left my kids and wife

For weeks at times

If only I had known

I searched for money 

But only found debt

Loved ones I'm sorry

Lesson learned

probably not the greatest work but im trying to get back into writing i stopped writing years ago but im trying to get back in
