A Chapter by Trash Fairy

I'm walking up the path, getting closer to the shack when I hear a loud thud and fumbling. I stopped in my tracks, body frozen but head alert. Then came faint voices. As I get close to the door I hear a woman yelling, it's not my girl though, followed by the repetitive sound of slapping. I draw my .38 and walk through the door. Who do I see? That awful cow Ms. Whatever standing over my doll, screaming in her face and hitting her, beating her while she's in a heap on the floor. My vision goes red and I shoot the b***h twice. I'm about to pull the trigger again, even though she's clearly down, but I stop when the echo of fast approaching footsteps reaches my ears. I find the nearest shadow, in the corner by the door and take refuge in its darkness. I wait for the owner of the footsteps to enter while trying to slow my shallow breaths.
