Antigovernment

Come put yourself in my
Shoes if you dare to
See the world through
Hurt eyes; see the real you
I see how society made the World to be;
I see how the government controls the weak
Feed off their income & liability but yet you
still don't see what I see; Brainwashed from birth;
selling you an all American dream for free
you already sold your soul the day you could speak;
you have to go to college to support a family of three;
you can't afford college so you sell drugs for fee;
you get caught now it's 5 years or more depending on how the judge is feeling that week;
all because your kids needed something to eat;
your kids get taken suddenly you forget what it feels like to breathe;
lord father god why this why me?; it's not you it's the system it's not there to defeat;
you get out a year later or maybe even three;
jobs denying you left and right now it's getting kinda hard to think;
see how this system is designed ? They set you up for nothing; let this sink;
We as minorities need to realize they will never be okay with the fact that we have the power to thrive & the ability to think;
scared that one day we might over power the kingdom
and thrones of the rich.

I agree. Today kids see what is left. American dream bite the bullets in 2000. I know there is bad and good times for a country. Honest truth, no-one in power is seeking solutions, only putting bandages on and hoping you forget your misery. Need change ASAP. Or the ending or beginning may surprise us. Great poetry. You made me think this early morning.
