Listen closely

Listen closely

A Poem by Trapped
"

Sometimes listening can be more powerful than any other sense.

"
Pitter pitter patter
Pitter pitter patter
The sound of rain,
Strangely
Reminds the weak of strength
And the strong of weakness.

Thump thump thump
Thump thump thump
The sound of my heart,
Dancing
As I hear songs in the world
That nobody else hears.

Clack clack clack
Clack clack clack
The sound of computer keys,
Scrambling
To make ideas a reality
And to burn dreams to the ground.

But what is the sound of life?
Is it the pitter pitter patter of rain?
Is it the constant thump of a dancing heart?
Is it the clack of a computer key?
Or maybe,
Possibly,
Is it the sound
Of
Silence?

I believe, the sounds of life would be 'silence'. Great one. Carry on.

There is a type of meditation called entering the silence. In silence and in stillness does Life make itself known.
