If I died

If I died

A Poem by Trapped
"

If, When, One and the same.

"

If I died, they wouldn’t cry.

If I died, they would see a corpse,

When a corpse isn’t in front of them,

Only because

They aren’t really there.

If I died, who will mourn?

Who would stand by my cold shoulder,

And leave me wet

With liquid diamonds

Falling

From their eyes.

If I died, who would care?

I’m not useful in life,

And I waste money in death.

When I die,

I hope

There will be one person

In this vast universe

With liquid diamonds

Falling

From their eyes.
