Marathon

Marathon

A Poem by Trapped
"

I run my marathon. You run yours. Some are long. Some are short. Depends on the obstacles in the way.

"
I’m running a marathon
I get weights added
My weights increase
I get breaks and energy
Decreasing and decreasing
What happens
When
I run out of energy
Can’t wait to figure it out
The sooner the better
Because these weights
Are becoming heavy
And I
Am on
The verge
Of collapse
Because I’m not strong enough
To keep everyone’s weights
On my shoulders
And still have strength
For my own

Muscles grow over time if you keep working at it. Soon you will be able to handle all that weight you just need to work at it and focus on your goals.
