If only they knewA Poem by TraidyA child's death
-If only they knew,
The chances too few,
A heart so weak,
The blood would leak,
the vessels broke,
A dozen bruises,
So the story wrote,
They All gave excuses.
A slap here,
And a shove,
So much to fear,
Such little from love,
In and out,
A life of rule,
A child about
A life so cruel.
To late to save,
This poor pitied soul,
A sour cry gave,
As he was lowered into a hole,
Mourn we shall,
With our minds on the child,
A desperate wail,
In his darkest hour
