Nature Gives Many Reminders

The most natural things give the greatest reminders.

The silver moon in the sky,

Always seems to catch my eye.

It’s only out when it’s night,

Giving us a gorgeous sight.

The moon’s light reflects on the sea,

There is one thing it’s reminding me.

The sea is a mirror of given light,

That’s there to guide us through the night.

Each star in the sky shines so brightly,

That’s something we shouldn’t take lightly.

There’s no need to pretend you’re someone else,

When the best you have is yourself.

We find flowers very pretty,

Yet with people we are more picky.

We all hold secrets deep down inside,

But who we are we shouldn’t hide.
