Imperfectly HumanA Poem by Tracie Skarbo The ocean Caresses my skin With briny lips And coaxes Salted scales from My thighs She accepts my Velvety air filled orbs Which rise to her smooth visage And replaces them With opalescent pearls Between my bare breast I listen to her frothy Lullaby as she Plays sand and stone Over strings of seaweed And I am filled with Lusty thoughts Of depths imagined beyond Horizons and lands I have not Yet ventured My eyes fill with tears As I listen to the distant, Lonesome whale song Calling out to mates I dive beneath her again And delight in her Delicious liquid embrace That casts aside All that makes me Imperfectly human © 2011 Tracie SkarboFeatured Review
