AppraisalA Poem by Tracie Skarbo
Reading it over he said
“Yes it will do.”
Right then I knew
By the expression on his face
Trying to hold back
He didn’t know I knew
What I did was right
By letting my feelings show that night
The paper so silent
Yet so meaningful
His comments brief
Yet to my relief
He liked it
I felt so proud
I could have laughed out loud!
