Kitchen moments

Kitchen moments

A Poem by Tracie Skarbo
"

I don't like the title...but could not think of another...

"

Steam off the coffee
Sugar and pie
Lie unfinished on the table
As I loosen your tie

Kick your shoes to the corner
Sit back and unbutton your shirt
Kisses behind your ear
I want to be your flirt

Leave your worries and troubles
There’s no room for them here
I don’t want them between us
I need to feel you near

Put your hand over here
And feel my heart pound
It’s a liquid vibration
To what I have found

A secret location
With layers so deep
Reacts to your scent
My passion too steep

Strong arms enfold me
I soar in the air
The quickened excitement
My hands in your hair

Promises given
With just but a glance
We’re off to the bedroom
For our lovers dance…

Wow.. this was fantastic.. the flow, rhythm and rhyme very great! I loved the kitchen scene.. as if anyone has read anything or knows me.. it's I just love food as well as interaction! This lover's dance... has love, lust and profound yearning written it all over it for me! Just a glance.. the feel of a heartbeat.. steep passion.. Okay.. this is intense.. need a shower thank you very much.. which means.. I loved it all the way! I will be saving this one to FAVORITES!!! It's just so human... and richly embraced at that. =)

Very well written poem on the dance of seduction. Flirty, fun, sensuous yet still an air of mystery. nicely penned!!

Very pleasant portrayal. Flows well from the time he gets home until, well, "off you go." Enjoyed reading this. Definitely gave off a romantic sense. Nice job!

Always nice to have a little bit of kitchen play. Very sensual erotic piece. Excellent job.

I usually don't like lover's poems; often overdone and saccharine (or overly dark). This piece is wonderful; perfectly balanced in a place we can all relate to. It reminds me of romance past, wine and holding hands; guiding each other into the next room.

Cheers!

Who cares bout the title the poem is awesome... nothing like those little sparks to light the flame, certainly the best way to cook in the kitchen. so delightful and sexy.
