Loves Confusion

Loves Confusion

A Poem by Tracie Skarbo
"

Not quite finished...but thought I would put it out there anyhow

"

Time is driving me crazy
Marching on like I am not along
The tick of the clock
Chisels my thoughts with its song

I know I am missing out
On things others do
I sit underneath this shroud
And think on and on about you

I wonder if I will ever break this barrier
That seems to sit between you and I
Or if I will forever embrace loneliness
Because I didn’t try

Silence is our bed fellow
Although so much is said
I feel as though I watch from the bench
I want to get into the game instead

I want to run and flail my arms
Yelling to the highest peak
Showing you I am here
Still you do not speak

So many times its what isn't said that hurts the most. I'm going through that right now as we speak. How much you just want to grab the person and tell them everything you feel, but you don't, and it goes back to that familiar quiet again. Quiet with a smile, yes, I'm fine thank you, how are you?!

Not knowing will always be worse than knowing where you stand.

Thanks for this Tigra.
You're a wonderful writer.

Wow!! Such raw emotion. So much said, yet left unsaid. This is beautifully stated and a very pleas for the end to the indecisive place you are in. Truly well done.
