Trail Ride

Trail Ride

A Poem by Tracie Skarbo

My heart beats no longer in my chest

I thought I had done my best

His face will not fade from mind

how did this barbed wire unwind

I thought I had found a clue

then out of the gate he flew

Sadness bleeds

untold needs...

A short but simple poem. And it flows so nicely as well. Again, great job Tigra!

Lets see if we can fix the heart.
I`ll try to fix it if you will help
You have done your best you know
The barb wire is gone
The faces are together again
Just crack the whip, he`ll mind
Yes dear----Yes ----Yes
