More today then any other

my heart aches as I watch her

watching me, watch her

Like you, seeing her beauty

is evident

like me, my heart feels her pain

On the other side of the looking glass

there is me

a love in waiting

Do you see the beauty in me?

Is it evident how my every thought is owned by you?

Do you ever for a moment feel my hearts pain?

Today loving you hurts me

only for one reason alone...

Will I ever be allowed on the other side of this window?

Where ever you are...your body is with her

is your heart with me?

I feel forgotten this day, today, in the silence of my room

I see her, she see's me and we both turn to you

you see, I want to hold her hand

but it's me I wish you would choose

It's a stunning read. I relate to so much of it, silence definitely does allow fear in. That fear of inadequacy and nonacceptance takes primal scream therapy classes I think, it screams loud and clear. As do your words come across.

I love my hikes..they center me and so far no snow has stayed on the ground. I got to walk up until January 8th on my birthday last year before my trail closed.. so I'm hoping it goes that good this year :) xo

Awwww, really touching yet utterly sad... waiting to fade, through the looking glass indeed. Mirror reflection, sometimes you breath onto a mirror just to see if you're still alive and how your breath looks, but sometimes the glass lies because what's real and what's not? The reflection in the glass looks the same, only it's not for there can be both change and difference. Really loved this piece, so many ideas about what it could be about, one reason I love poetry... well penned write ;)
