THE SOUL OF THE RUNNER

THE SOUL OF THE RUNNER

A Poem by Traceurdash

I flow through these spaces like a floating leaf at race horse paces

shifting gracefully like a line tracing a unique path every time

waiting to catch my wind to hop up and unwind,

fly again, and release a skill that blinds

masking the sense of understanding saying f**k the sublime,

just accepting exitstance, and its presentation,

grasping its freedom and its liberation.

My mind sucked into this delirium this blissful sensation

this unpredictable paradox securing my soul like a million pad locks and a fence that shocks

I feel this inertia lifting and it rocks.

I take to the air like a geese flock

Not awaiting the drop

but enjoying what life has to offer before its all shot

free i am and free i got freedom i take and its my freedom

and i wont let it rot.
