Lost Soul

Lost Soul

A Poem by Treylee
"

Never stop exploring and finding your self.

"

I sit atop this floating vessel

Staring contently out to sea

The journey making me a little less ill

Because I’m surrounded by all this beauty.

I’m trying to find myself, to get back to being me

I’m hoping exploring the world will do it

That it will help me see

Even just a little bit

Who I’m supposed to be.

Where did my soul go?

When was it set free?

I wish it had taken me with it

On its journey.

Until I find it, I’ll continue this search

Maybe it was clever, this was all part of its plan

Maybe ill find pieces on some beach or high in a birch

Some where in Australia, Mexico, or even Japan.

So if you ever see a girl

With crazy locks of purples and blues

Point her in the best direction

Of the most beautiful views.

For she is searching for something

Once loved and now lost

And she will continue on her journey

No matter what the cost.
