Photography Sonnet

A sonnet about one of my greatest passions, photography.

A picture is more than just an image

It is a reflection of honesty

It is a kind memory of vintage

And some are the results of comedy.

A photograph is something to adorn

Immortalizing a thought forever

Even after the length of time is worn,

You may look back on the thought whenever.

Though some are not shown in such high spirit

Some are of war and tears and of danger

Some show the sadness of ones last minute

And how people show outrage and anger

Pictures are worth a thousand words they say

But that depends on how heavy they weigh.
