Rain

Rain

A Story by Tylor

This is for everyone with so much pain, Yet they choose to dance in the rain. The ones who surrender their hearts for the world to see but stay awake wondering who they might be.

Uncertain of the future yet we must push on, we must push on. Hopeful for tomorrow hopeful for a day our souls and hearts will be at peace. I think often we feel hopeless when hope is present. Hope doesn't always find a way to fall in your arms but sometimes it lands on your feet. Not because life is unfair or you're not as deserving as someone else. But to remind you to smell the fresh cut grass to remind you how beautiful the sky looks today.

Our souls often become heavy, heavy with the guilt and burdens of life, heavy with fear and sadness. Too often do we forget to empty that part of ourselves. We forget to talk about feelings and to accept love or maybe we live with the idea that it's not okay to talk about the heaviness that you're holding onto.

Time is currency but there is no way to cash it out. There is no interest earned, and in time we all go broke. Don't let the amount of money in your bank account define you as a person. Let the time you invest in other people define you. Listen and learn, we all have a story to tell.

A nice comparison between depression and the rain. I think you meant interest when you said "There is no interested earned,". Also, you should probably put a comma after learn, in the final sentence. that sentence should probably be broken into two. Aside from that, this piece is lovely food for thought. Great share.
