you dont know me

you dont know me

A Poem by Taylor.

Editing your life

into something that you think is perfect

but its not

face the facts mom

your daughter is broken

your husband is a drunk

your off into your own world

when we are living in ours

i hate him

he hates me

thats fine

but you dont even see anything

Mom you dont even know me!

why do you think i dont want to be at home

why do you think i dont want "family time"

i dont want to go camping with you and him

i want nothing to do with him

i just want to be with my friends

they know me

way better than you

they love me

way more than you

we dont even need a blood reletion

to know we are family

we are our family

and they dont pretend its perfect

they know when im sad

they are there

but honestly you dont kow that

and you never will....

Great poem, but I disagree with one thing. No one knows you better than your mom. Your friends might know you really well, but no matter what, your parents will love you, even if it is deep, deep, very deep down, because they brought you to this world.
