This Caged Bird Is Free

Another tribute i wrote about Neji Hyuuga ; ~ ; R.I.P. Neji Hyuuga 1997-2012

I've fought long,
 and I've fought hard.
But everything comes to an end,
 and that was my last card.

I've protected my loved ones,
 as best as i could.
But now i have passed on,
 i knew that i would.

I'll see you all,
 again some day.
I know i will,
 I'll hope and I'll pray.

Im with Shikaku and Inoichi,
 they're doing well
They miss you all,
 they told me to tell.

Itachi is here,
 Deidara is too.
They seem to be happy,
 and Sasuke Itachi loves you.

I'm not alone,
 and i'm not scared.
So keep on fighting,
 but know that i cared.

I've served my purpose,
 But it's easy to see.
That now my dear friends,
 This caged bird is free.

Amazing ending, I liked it from the get go, being a big 'Naruto' fan, I read this poem hoping to be impressed, I wasn't disappointed. I like the emotion, the word choice and the situation this poem depicts. Knowing the personality of Neji, having regal pride and being the "responsible one" but yet showing vulnerability and a softer side of him, letting go of everything behind him knowing that they still have so much left to prove, ah I could go on and on about how amazing this poem is and what an impact it has on my mind :P but all I want to say is you did a great job and you're talented :3
