Yes I see you standing there,

Your large muscles and luscious hair,

Smooth talker, with lots to share,

but honestly, I don't care

 

'cause although I can't quite say he's mine,

No one can make me change my mind,

I have my doubts, all the time,

But then I remember, he'll soon be mine

 

Easily, I could have another guy

But why would I give up this try,

I love this man, with all of my heart,

Nothing could ever tear me apart

 

He's the one with the choice to make,

With understanding the risks to take,

Because you see the age seems to matter,

When we all know love should make that matter shatter

 

We do both have feelings for one another,

The problem is one's greater than the other,

I love him so much more than I let him know,

So for now these strong feelings, I cannot show

 

But one day, he will know how I feel,

Hopefully, it's his heart he'll let me steal,

Because if it's not, and he breaks my heart,

Well, I think you can all think up that part

 

For now until I feel the closer with him,

Whether he gives me his heart, or makes my heart grim,

I will reject any man who tries to outshine him,
