She Leaves.A Poem by BriA look into the life of having to share your best friend with enemies of a different species. She graces me with a hug. A beautiful smile on her face. She's amazing. Her personality is like a brilliant sun. Shining brightly without difficulty. Bringing a smile to your face after a rainy day. She fills my heart with happiness as we speak of our jokes and playful banter. She's my best friend. She sticks to me like a wonderful glue. A bond that is strong and almost unbreakable. Then the other ones come along. Their presence hangs in the air like a disgusting stench. Making me wish to vomit and banish them but, alas. My best friend wants them here, so they stay. And I do not complain, so as to not disrupt my dear friendship. Then, like a sudden flood upon small houses, they take her. And I don't see my dear best friend. Please come back, how I do miss you. © 2014 BriAuthor's Note
