Sometimes I forget

You’re so far from me.

Sometimes I forget that I even have you.

That you’re mine.

But you’re always there.

But sometimes I forget that.

That’s until you’re right there with me.

The way you light a fire in me as you drag your fingers over my skin.

How you look at me with such love in your eyes.

How when you rest your forehead against mine,

You close your eyes…

And smile.

Nobody has looked at me the way you look at me.

Nobody has ever made me feel as beautiful as you make me feel.

Nobody has ever kissed me with such a hunger.

The way you hold, like you never want to let go.

 

So no matter how far.

No matter how long till I see you.

You’re always there.

And I’ll never forget that.
