The EndA Poem by ToriA girl already gone telling her story.
I lay here silent,
the stillness is eerie. A tear slowly slides down my already dampened cheek. When will they find me? When will they hear me? HEAR ME. I shutter through the wind as I close my eyes.. The mans face embedded in my mind.. I look around in the darkness and feel my surroundings dirt? Twigs? OH GOD where am I. My mind flashes back to when I was three and I hurt my knee on the forest floor.. is that where I am. I hear the twigs snapping my heart starts pounding FEAR The fear is real.. I scream. You know the stories your mom used to tell? The ones about the prince and the princesses and the happy endings? well.. not all stories have happy endings as I have come to understand.
