Love is a shapeshifter,

Love is the first night in your arms and life started to make since,

Love is the look you give me that makes me melt,

Love is the fear in your eyes when your about to lose me,

Love is when just a simple gaze into my eyes answers all my questions and calms my fears,

Love is you,

Love is that day in the hospital when our eyes meet the smiles of our perfect children,

Love is the fights well have that end in tender kisses as the sun goes down,

Love is the smiles we will give as our kids have kids,

Love is you being papa and me being grandma,

Love is the fact that even though were old we tease as if we were still teens,

Love is the day in our death beds when we grab each others hands and say nothing at all because we learned what love is.

Love is when the one of us stand in front of the others grave and smile in silent piece because we knew what love was.

Perfect. When I read this I think back on couples who have been married for 40's years and plus and nothing has tore them apart. I think about how the love between them is so strong you just admire it. Hearing stories of how they met and what has happened in their lives. Its truly great. You captured part of that essence.
