Mama wasn't perfectA Poem by ToriA story a bout a selfless soul.
My mother wasn't perfect..
She may not have been perfect but she was selfless.. Though on the streets, she fed others Though she was cold, she clothed others Though she felt lost, she helped others find their way, Though every one left her, she left no one Though she shed tears, she told others not to She may have made mistakes, she may not be christian But there is not a day that she walks this earth for herself People may judge her, but she judges no one, She believes once you have had nothing, there is no reason to judge.. she believes judging leads to destruction.. she believes that if you never find the diamond in the rough, that means you have never tried.. she believes all people deserve a chance.. Although people never believed she did.. no my mother wasn't perfect..nor is she perfect today.. but her loss has made her wise.. truth is you would be surprised how wise the people that lost everything seem to be.
