I had just got through reading a book called Young, Poor and Pregnant: The Psychology of Teenage Motherhood by Judith Musick when this short story popped into my head.

Coyote Poetry

A sad tale in this short story. Terrible to think being pregnant will keep you safe. Great use of words and thoughts. A very good story.
