UntitledA Poem by TorenMichaels
I’m somewhere within the perils of life
From what I neglected to say And held prisoner within my life Within a cortex of gray My lips quiver to confess my sins But my spirit’s still committed to run Weakness has come over my skin But my mind’s still a loaded gun I’ve written so many books on love Heartaches and fates As I sifted through ashes and ruins Of what’s not the hearts to keep I’ve lonely eyes Beneath washed away skies And a heart that hurts to breathe I hope some day in a memory I’ll find where I placed me © 2013 TorenMichaelsAuthor's Note
