It's a working progress

"
Footsteps pounding against the sidewalk, drownding out the sound of all else that surrounded. Each step I slammed to the ground the farther I got away from the footsteps that echoed my own not far from behind me. One step then another closing in on a building to many were frightend of for the dark exterior and lack of light shining  from the inside.

A glance back,  a mistake I regret the blazing eyes of the shaman I was trying to run from caught my eyes with his own. Holding my gaze. Struggling agenst an invisible force, hands unseen by anyone pushed against me shoving me to the ground. Struggling to repel against it nd not submit. Don't fight me younge one, you will lose. Scratchy acidic voice came from with in my head.

Shamans were sneaky creatures, this one was no differant. Eyes were a blazing blue, the mark of a Shaman on his left cheek a lightning bolt of steal. Shining through the thickest of slime. This Shaman was dressed for presteige, a black Baroni suit snug to his body with a white french collared shirt underneath in a white. Not a drop of water stained the pant leg, not one drop fell upon his jacket. Hair fell over the top of his head to his shoulders in a Raven wing black.

"I don't have anything you want" my teeth gritted against on another as I spoke. The strength shook my body lightly. The grip on my shoulders kept me from even slightly stumbling though the shaman was still three feet away.

Little one, don't be so naive.  You don't have anything I want. You are who I want. The voice still not spoken aloud but scratching in my ears seeping through my brain  leaving its imprint in my brain.

Confusion fillled my brain, why would he wan't me? Nothing special about me. I was barley five foot tall with blonde hair, light enough it eluminated off the sun. Pale skin, white as paper except for the light pink that was my cheeks. Pericing green eyes glared up into the Shaman's blue. My voice would stay inside me. I would not give in to him. I had nothing he wanted, and he nothing I wanted.

Grips on my shoulders grew tighter digging nails that werent there into each of my arms. Give in child! My Lord would be mad if you are damadge when I bring you to him. The voice sounded temperd, but softer then it had been. The feeling of a head ache being etched into my brain wasn't there like it had been everyother time he spoke to me.

Shifting the way I sat the grounds water seeping deep into my jeans into my skin. Shivvering from the lack of warmth my gaze hadn't shifted from the Shaman's eyes. Wielding my jaw open to voice words "Why. Me?" I spoke barley audible, more of a whisper than an actually speaking.
