Contented Recluse

Contented Recluse

A Poem by Tory Steller
"

My every morning, noon, and night.

"
Good morning to my sunless room, drapes drawn to block the light
Stay dark as night all day while shadows dance just out of sight

And greetings suffocating silence stiller than a tomb
I feel embraced always encased inside this quiet womb

Hello friendless social site, I've missed you very much
Thanks for updates on the lives who've fallen out of touch

These small comforts keep me company whenever I'm alone
I grin day in, day out within my isolated home

I got off Facebook last October- I feel much better. Real friends are much harder to find but well worth the search.
