Broken MotherA Poem by Tory StellerI love you
I'm tired of your happiness you show us everyday
It truly fails to capture all the pain and sick dismay Why the lying smiles mommy? We know they're just for play Even daddy knows how to keep his sorrows on display It's not my fault you had me so embrace your young mistake I know I tear your world apart with every breath I take Just admit to it you b***h, all your loving words are fake Since my hurtful birth you've harbored hatred in your wake Above my crib you'd whisper all your wishes of my death Drunk breath, cackling until your lungs had nothing left You tried to buy my laughs as if your money could impress Don't wanna hear you're sorry w***e, I want you to confess How you tried to break my neck, bragging to your friends Beating me to sleep, I know the pain will never end For the fools who say that this is now and that was only then Will never understand how I've been robbed of my revenge I could've drowned you in the tub and watched Blown your skull away with shots Dragged you in the parking lot Left you in the streets to rot But now I'm at your wake with the rest of hated family And they seem unawares to all the ways you damaged me You died not by my hands, but by a selfish tragedy So now I'm left alone, but on one thing we can agree I'm great at this mommy game Better than you ever were And she will never know your name 'Cause I refuse to tell her My daughter lives without the pain You left me in your letters You broke me once, now I'm insane But she remains my tether © 2013 Tory StellerAuthor's Note
