IndividualA Poem by Tory StellerFor anyone who thinks for themselves.
The masses disagree with me, but I’m an individual
My decisions aren’t dictated by a hive-minded yes or no I disregard what’s deemed acceptable and speak my peace Regardless if forever I alone hold dear my own beliefs It may not be as comfortable as being labeled normal But I still reject conformity in favor of my morals I’m more than just a rebel seeking rules to disobey I just like to use my brain so I’m not led astray It’s fine to me if we agree, if our visions coincide Just don’t expect forfeited pride to blindly take your side We are all original and entitled to opinions Just think! Don’t let society enslave you as its minion © 2013 Tory StellerAuthor's Note
