Stars

Stars

A Poem by Pen_&_Paper
"

Just a little thing about stars

"
Small diamonds dot the skies
Twinkling and glinting across the dark expanse
Calling to us with songs of liberty

In darkness a glow lies
Lighting the path, so greatly immense
Calling to us with songs of mystery

So close to the blue a starling flies
Wings skimming clouds in its dance
Calling to us with songs of beauty

Stuck so low on the ground
To gravity and dirt ever we are bound
We call to the stars with our songs of misery
