From within

From within

A Poem by Tonya's CoffeeWrites

Her eyes carried
a certain kind
of silence and desire,
that begged
and yet screamed out
to be heard
and understood.
I felt as if I was who she was thinking of,
staring with eager and deepness,
only I could identify.
In her eyes I see us,
into my eyes, hers burns.
Not even stars in the sky,
could compare to the stars in her eyes.

it feels like self reflection
sometimes we stop to look at who we are and what we've become and it can be surprising.
