Interrogation

Interrogation

A Poem by Revolutionary

Do you see what I'm made of
when you stare down my throat as I silently scream?
Are you searching for a nemesis?
exposed as an imposter to ridicule and demean.
Are you trying to protect life
From the fragments of lunacy that remain completely sane?
Did you expect me to evolve
into a secondary vessel where I alleviate the pain?
Where you true to your convictions
when you designed these devices that control the tongue?
If I write you a confession
will this ordeal be over, will justice be done?
Must we go to such extremes
to preserve what is left of a sense of free will?
If I verify untruths
will this fallacy become history, replacing what is real?
Should I allow you to deceive
the integrity of good men with your false flag desire?
will they ever know
which one of us was the terrorist and which one was the liar?

to preserve what is left of a sense of free will?"
An intelligent and reasonable piece of writing.

PS. Typo in "Where you true to your convictions" - should be "Were..."
