Chapter 1

It was a bright sunny day. A girl named Ai was walking through the streets of Tokyo coming home from school. She stops into a market and goes in and byes a few snacks and drink. As she continues home she sees 3 girls from her school, Airi, Chisa, and Mai. She stops and tries to cross the street before they see her, but Chisa sees her.

“Ha! Look who it is here,” said Chisa.

“Ai, I told you not to come on this block anymore. You really are wanting me to kick your a*s,” said Airi.

“Airi, please I live in this neighborhood,” said Ai.

“So you, you can take the long way around, Ai,” said Mai.

“That would take me 2 hours if I did that, Mai,” said Ai.

“Well then do it from now on,” said Airi.

“If not you will be beat Ai,” said Chisa.

“If we see you tomorrow, Ai, you are dead,” said Mai.

Ai takes off running to her house. She runs past a new girl standing out side her apartment building. Ai quickly ran into the elevator and pressed the button. The girl looked at her in the eyes from a distance with a blank stare on her face. Ai looked back with a puzzled look on her face. “What a strange girl,” Ai thought to herself. Ai continued to her apartment. She entered, “I’m home.” There was no answer. “Mama, Papa, are you here.” Still no answer. “Guess I am alone for dinner again tonight.”

Ai sat down to do her home work from school. She spent hours on the homework, and finally she turned and looked at the clock. It was already 10PM. She got up and put her home work away. She then headed to her room. She got inter her draw and pulled out her night outfit. She then went to get a shower and get ready for bed. After her shower she reach into the refrigerator and pulled out some leftovers from the night before. She started to heat them up. She turned around and she seen something move outside on the balcony. She walks over to check and she sees nothing out there. She turns back around and goes and gets her food off the stove. She turns on the television and starts eating her meal. As she is watching television, the signal starts to get disrupted. She gets up to check the cable line into the television. Every thing is alright with the television she sits back down and it still is disrupted. She goes to get up a gain and the screen turns white.

“What is going on with this television?” she asked. Then two eyes appear on the screen and a face start to materialize. Ai Jumps back and trips over the table in the living room. She looks at the television and sees the face of a girl staring at her.

“Who…who are you?’ Ai asked, and the girl stayed silent. The girl just looked around and said ‘Ryuusei’. Ai looked puzzled and said “Ryuusei?” The girl shook her head yes. “Who are you?” Ai asked again. “Is your name Ryuusei?” the girl shook her head no. “Then who…”

As Ai started to ask once again, the girl disappeared and the television turned to normal. Then Ai seen another movement from the balcony. She goes out there and looks around again. Then a cat jumps out of no were and scares her.

“Stupid cat. Why are you scarring me like that?” She turns around to the other side of the balcony and she sees the girl from earlier on the balcony for the apartment next door staring up at the sky. “Oh jeez You scared me. I did not know…” Ai started.

“You know it is sad to sit and watch them fall from the sky,” said the strange girl.

“Ummm, ok. I guess so. They are just shooting stars. It happens all the time,” said Ai. “So what is your name?”

“Yui,” The girl Replied.

“Well Yui I am..”

“Ai. Yeah I know of you Ai. Who doesn’t know the girl who gets bullied by Airi and her girls.”

“Well…”

“No well about it Ai. You need to make a stand or you will never make it. Oh and those shooting starts. Those are not shooting stars.”

“What do you mean they are not shooting stars, and what do you mean I wont make it?”

“Your destiny is about to change forever Ai. Yours and mine.”

“What?”

“Oh and those shooting stars. They are not shooting stars.”

“Well what are they then?”

“They are known as Ryuusei.”

Ai eyes get really big, “Ryuusei? What is Ryuusei?”

“Are you kidding Ai? You are Japanese and you do not know what Ryuusei is in our own language. It is a meteor.”

“Well I know that. But I thought meteors turn into shooting stars?”

“Not these particular seven don’t.”

“Why not?”

“They are special. And there time to fall is coming soon.” Yui looks over at Ai. “Are you ready Ai? Are you ready for what is coming your way? For your destiny?”

“What are you talking about Yui?”

“You will see. And tell Airi she better watch out because her destiny is about to change as well.” Yui turns away and walk back inside. Ai just stands there with a puzzled look on her face.

“What does Airi have to do with this?” Ai goes back inside and she heads to her room and lays down to sleep. “My destiny is changing? What does this girl Yui know any ways.” Ai lays there and then falls fast asleep.

In America in a city called Clearwater Florida, a Girl walks out side in the early hours of the morning and sits on her patio in a chair. She picks Up a book and starts to read it. The wind start blowing really heavily. She looks around and the sun is shinning bright with no cloud in site. The wind keeps blowing harder and harder.

“What is going on?” she asks, “There is no clouds or storm around. Why is the wind blowing so hard?” She then looks around and sees a girl standing in the distance staring at her. Stephanie gets a puzzled look on her face. The girl disappears. Stephanie turns around to her house and sees the girl in a tree two houses away. “Who are you?” she says to the girl and the girl disappears again. Stephanie just shakes her head and turn to go inside. When she faces the door the girl is standing right in front of her. Now with a scared look on her face she backs up and the girl starts to come towards her. Stephanie keeps backing up and hitting into things. The girl gets closer and closer. The girl stops and tilts her head to the side.

“Why are you afraid of me Stephanie?” asked the girl.

“how do you know my name?” asked Stephanie.

“That is not important right now. Why are you afraid?”

“Because you are weird. You pop out of no where. Not to mention this wind, it came along with you. You wonder why I am scared? Who are you?”

“My name is Kayla. And I am here for you.”

“What do you mean?”

“You will find out soon enough Stephanie. Your destiny will be proven to you soon enough.”

“Why have you come to me Kayla?”

“The Ryuusei.”

“The What?

“Ryuusei. It is Japanese for meteor.”

“A meteor? What does a meteor have to do with me? Am I suppose to be a super hero to save the planet from a meteor? Give me a break.”

“That is not too far from the truth Stephanie. You will see with in time. You will know soon enough.” Kayla walks up to the edge of the yard. “Remember, always be on the look out Stephanie. The Ryuusie will be here soon.” Kayla then disappears.

“That was too weird.” Stephanie shakes her head. She looks at the time and goes back inside. “Maybe I need to see a shrink. That was too weird.” Her phone starts ringing. “Wonderful, work probably wanting me early.” walks to her phone and she looks at the ID caller and sees that it is a unknown number. She picks it up, “Hello?” There was silence. “Hello?” she asked again. Still silence. “listen if there is anybody there speak now.’ Then a Voice spoke.

“Ryuusei,” Said the voice. Stephanie just had a blank stair on her face.

“I am sorry, what did you say?”

“Ryuusei,” the voice said again.

“Ryuusei? What is the deal with this Ryuusei? Can you answer me that?”

The voice then spoke another word, “Soon.”

“Soon? Why not now?” asked Stephanie. At that moment the phone hung up on her. She then looked at her watch again. “S**t, I am going to be late if I keep thinking about this Ryuusie thing all damn day.” She rushes into the bathroom to get changed and shower. She then rushes out the door to her car and takes off to get things done before she goes to work.

In the city of Foshan in China a girl lays on her bed looking at her phone. She is talking to a friend through text message. She then get a smile on her face. She looks at the clock and realizes that it is getting late. She kisses the screen on her phone and lays it down for the night, She starts to drift off to sleep when she hears a sound out side her window. She looks out the window and sees nothing there. She then turn around and sees a girl staring at her. The girl looks at her and places her hand to the mirror. The girl walks over to the mirror frightened.

“I am Jing Ran, Who…are you?”

The girl looked at Jing Ran and said nothing. Jing Ran goes up to the mirror and places her hand on hers. The girl in the mirror starts to smile, and a tear falls from her eye.

“Ryuusei” said the girl in the mirror.

“Your name is Ryuusei?”

The girl shook her head no. She then spoke another word. “Help us. Help Ryuusei.” said the girl.

“Us? Who are the Ryuusei and how am I suppose to help them?”

“Jing Ran, you will know soon. You will see.”

“What is your name?”

“You will know that in time as well. Just be patient.”

“OK.”

The girl in the mirror fades away. Jing Ran goes back to herbed and sits down.

“What was that? Maybe I shouldn’t have ate KFC. What a weird experience.” Just then her phone starts to ring. It is her friend Chen Min. “Hey Chen Min, what’s up?”

“not much I just had this feeling I should call you. Is every thing alright?”

“Yeah, every thing is fine. I thought I was having a hallucination but it has past.”

“Hallucination? What drugs are you on?” Chen min said with a laugh in her voice.

“Shut up. I think it was what I ate. But it is gone now.”

“Well that is good. Hey I wanted to ask you something?”

“What is it?”

“Have you ever heard of Ryuusie?”

Jing Ran is silent.

“Jing Ran, are you there?”

“Yes…I am here. And yes I have heard of Ryuusei. Did the girl appear in your mirror too?”

“Wait, What girl? Maybe you did eat something bad.”

“Never mind. Why did you bring up the Ryuusei?”

“Well apparently it is in an old legend from an extinct race of people. It tells of the Ryuusie 9, and how there were 9 realms. I think Earth is one of those realms.”

“So our planets were the 9 realms of the 9 Ryuusei?”

“I don’t think so. I don’t know I might look into it more though. It is interesting?

“OK, Chen Min. Well i am going to go to bed now. I will talk to you later. Zai Jian.”

“Alright Zai Jian.”

The two hang up the phone and Jin Ran sits there thinking. She just looks back at the mirror.

“The Ryuusei? The 9 Realms? The girl in the mirror? What does all this mean? Is it some kind of foreshadow for the future. What bad is about to happen? Or am I just dreaming it all now. I am going to bed. This night turned out to be very weird.” She lays down and covers up and just stares out the window. “What if something is going to happen, what is it that is going to happen then?” She closes her eyes and falls asleep.

Two girls walk down the street with two guys behind them in the city of Sendai at night. They laugh and giggle as they walk down the street. One of the guys grabs one of girls from behind and turns her around and stares at her in the eyes. He leans in to kiss her. She backs up and puts her hand to his mouth.

“Shuichi, no. Not yet. I am still not ready to be your girlfriend,” said the girl.

“Yuka, how much longer do I have to wait till you are mine?” said Shuichi.

“Till I say so,” Yuka said backing up and turning back around.

“Yuka, stop playing with his heart,” said the other girl.

“Maimi, I will do what I want to,” said Yuka.

“Yeah Maimi, leave her be,” said the other guy.

“Toma, you shut up. It took you 5 months to even come close to asking me out then another 4 til you finally did. You were always playing games,” Maimi said with a giggle.

“That was 2 years ago,” Toma said.

“Oh well, I still remember it. Talking about Ryuusei all the time. Still makes no sense to me. But you are my love and I will listen to you in any moment of the day,” Maimi said with a smile.

“See Yuka, they get along really well. I know we can to,” said Shuichi.

“I said no. Not now,” Yuka said, “Any ways you guys still talk about that stupid Ryuusei. I can not be with somebody who is so obsessed with a meteor.”

“It is not obsession, it is a science. The Ryuusei isn’t just a meteor either. It is something more,” said Toma.

“Like what?” asked Maimi.

“We are not sure. That is what we need to find out,” said Shuichi.

“Once you do, what will you do then,” asked Yuka.

“Don’t know yet. We will see,” said Toma.

“When do you return to Osaka, Yuka?” asked Shuichi.

“Tomorrow. Then the next day I leave for England. I will be there for several months.,” Yuka told him.

“When will you be back to Sendai?” asked Shuichi.

“I don’t know right now. I will message you on the internet to let you know,” said Yuka.

“Alright,” Shuichi said with a disappointed look on his face.

The four stop walking out side a house. It is Maimis house. Toma gives Maimi a kiss good bye. Yuka looks at Shuichi and put her hand out for a hand shake.

“Really Yuka,” said Shuichi.

“Sorry, this is all I can offer you Shuichi.”

He takes her hand and shakes it. Shuichi and Toma continue walking down the street while the two girls go inside. Maimi shuts the door behind them.

“Yuka you are impossible.”

“What do you mean Maimi?”

“With Shuichi. He obviously likes you.”

“I know but there is something weird about him that I do not want to date him right now, if ever.”

“What do you mean?”

“I don’t know, I just…” suddenly Yuka stops talking get wide eyed and lets out a loud scream.

Maimi turns around and looks at what Yuka Is looking at. She backs up and sees two girls standing there in the window.

“Who are you? What do you want?” asked Maimi.

Both strange girls said at the same time, “Ryuusei.”

“Ryuusei,” said Yuka.

“Yes the Ryuusei, you must help before it is to late,” said one of the girls.

“Who are you girls, and what do you know about the Ryuusei?” asked Maimi.

“Our names are not important now. And we know a lot about the Ryuusei,” said the other strange girl.

“Why will you not tell us your names?” asked Yuka with a frightened look on her face still.

“You will learn in time dear girls. You will learn in time. Just When the time comes, Protect the Ryuusei,” said the first girl again.

Yuka and Maimi look at each other and look at the girls and walk over to the window and realize that they are in the glass of the window and not on the outside. Yuka looks at the one in the eye and nods her head.

“I will Protect the Ryuusei,” said Yuka.

“Yuka…I guess…I guess I will too,” said Maimi.

“We knew we could count on you girls,” said the second girl. After she spoke the two girls started to fade away. After a while of standing at the window the girls sat down.

“Yuka?”

“Yes.”

“What just happened?”

“I am not sure Maimi.”

“Ryuusei again. What is Ryuusei?”

“I wish I knew.” The two girls look at each other and get up and head to there bedrooms. Yuka lays down on herbed and looks at the ceiling?

“If I am to protect the Ryuusei, how am I going to do that from England. Wow there is a lot to think about. Shuichi I am sorry, I do not love you, You are not the one for me. I am sorry. I am still In love with Forest. That is why I am going to England. I am sorry,” Yuka speaks to herself. She gets up and changes in to her night clothes.

In the next room Maimi looks around the room and goes to her dresser and pulls her night clothes out and starts to get dressed. Her phone rings and she goes to answer it.

“Hello?”

“Maimi?”

“Yes?”

“Thank god. I think I am in danger.”

“What do you mean cousin?”

“I mean just that. Someone has been following me since I went to come home today.”

“Is it a man?”

“No I strange woman. She is standing outside my house right now.”

“Airi call the police.”

“I can’t Maimi. It said that that number has been disconnected.”

“Airi I am in Sendai and you are in Tokyo. What do you want me to do?”

“I am scared, Maimi. We are the only people left alive in our family.”

“And Yuka, Airi. I know you do not like her that much but she is family.”

“I know.”

“Have Chisa or Mai come stay with you?”

“I can’t. the only Number I was able to dial was yours. My house phone wont even work.” Airi walks to the window again. “Good it looks like she gave up and left. It was weird too. She had a hooded cape on.”

“That is weird,” then Maimi hears Airi Scream. “Airi are you ok? Airi.”

“She is in the house! Maimi I am scared now.”

“Airi! Hold on ok I will get somebody there for you!” Yuka hears the conversation and runs to Maimi room.

“Maimi, What is wrong with Airi?”

“I don’t know.” She puts her on speaker phone.

“Airi, It’s Yuka. What’s wrong?”

“Yuka, Maimi, I am so scared. I am in my closet now,” Airi said while crying.

“Stay there we will call somebody,” said Yuka.

“It…It is too late. She is in my room and at the door. I love you both,” said Airi

In the back ground they can here the lady say Ryuusie. Both girls stare at each other.

“Airi!” screamed Yuka. Suddenly Airi lets out a giant scream and Yuka and Maimi start to cry.

“Oh…my…god! Airi, why Airi?” Maimi said while crying.

“This can’t be happening. Not Airi now. No, she can’t be dead. Airi, Airi. AIRI!” Yuka yelled and started crying and screaming her name. “AIRI! AIRI! AIRI! WHY!”

“Yuka! Get a hold of yourself. We don’t know if she is dead or just kidnapped.”

“Your right Maimi. We need to go to Tokyo.”

“Right. First thing tomorrow we will leave for Tokyo. Lets just get some sleep for now.”

“Yeah. Good night Maimi.”

“Good night Yuka.” The two hug. Yuka goes back to her room and falls asleep. Maimi finishes getting ready for bed. She sits on her bed. “The lady said Ryuusie. Is there something more to the Ryuusei than what we already know? And Why Airi? What does she have to do with the Ryuusei? I really need to sleep. I have a long trip tomorrow to Tokyo.” She finally lays on her bed and falls asleep.

In A city known a Beijing, in china a girl sits and watches Television. Her name is Dan Dan. She eats a late night snack as well. Her friend Lian is passed out on the floor. She looks at the clock and realizes how late it is.

“Did not realize how lat it is. I have to get up early in the morning. This will be fun tomorrow.” She gets up and walks to the bedroom door she turns back and sees Lian laying on the floor. She takes a blanket over too her and covers her up. She then walks to her bedroom and closes the door. She walks over the window and closes her curtain. She sits down on her bed and grabs he lap top computer. She turns it on and a green screen comes on. Then a girl appears in it. She hits the escape button but nothing happens. She looks at it and the girl on the screen speaks the word Ryuusei. Dan Dan looks at her weird.

“Ryuusei?” asked Dan Dan.

The girl shook her head yes The girl then started to shed a tear. She looked really sad when she looked at Dan Dan.

“What is wrong? Are you ok?” Dan Dan asked.

“You must protect the Ryuusei. It is the only hope,” said the girl.

“Who are you?”

“I can not tell you that yet. We will meet in time. Just remember to protect the Ryuusei. We will meet soon Dan Dan.”

“Wait you know my name?” Dan Dan asked as the girl disappeared. She shuts the laptop and jumps up and shakes her head. “That was just weird. Did I eat something wrong?” She puts the laptop on her desk and walks back to the bed again. She lays down and covers up. Her sister Xio Feng walks through the Door.

“Dan Dan, are you asleep?” she asked

“No, I just laid down. What do you want?”

“I need to know something.”

“What?”

“Do you know of any strange things happening in Japan right now?”

“You mean the strange markings that they keep finding on buildings?”

“Yeah those.”

“Yeah, so what about them?”

“They found two of them in America. Another in Germany. Another one they found in South America. And today they found three in China. One in Shanghai, One in Guangzhou, and another in Xi’an.”

“Why are you telling me this stuff sister?”

“Because you need to realize the Ryuusei are…”

“Wait, did you say Ryuusei?

“Yeah I did. Why?”

“No reason.”

“So what about it.”

Her sister just looks at her. “The Ryuusei are coming my sister and there is not a thing we can do to stop what is going to happen.”

“What about protecting the Ryuusei?”

“Protecting them? Are you insane? Do you know what the Ryuusei Are?”

“No, but I wish you would tell me or at least that girl I seen.”

“What girl?”

“The girl that appeared in my laptop and said I need to protect the Ryuusei.”

“Yeah that is not going to happen. Once the knight s come here it is all over.” She gets a blank stare on her face and turns a nd looks at her sister.

“What Knights?”

“Never mind, Just wake up Lian. We need to get the hell out of China now”

“Where is Lian Going to go.”

“She has to come with us.”

“Why?”

“Because she is now pulled into this.” They both look at the door way and Lian is standing there.

“What is going on Xio?” asked Lian.

“I will explain when we are far away from here.” said Xio. “Lets just get going.” The 3 of them go out the apartment building and into Xios car. They speed off.

In Denver Colorado a girl walks down a street. She goes into a building were her friend is waiting on her. The girls name is Amy. She meets her friend Anthony.

“Have you had anymore encounters about the Ryuusei?” He asks Amy.

“No it seems to have calmed down.”

“Good. Maybe this doctor is helping you.”

“Maybe.”

They go up the stairs to a psychiatrist office. A sign on the door read the normal doctor is on a business trip and a new doctor is taking his place for a while. They walk in and the lady behind the counter looks at her.

“You are the only one today. Go on in. The Doctor is waiting.”

Amy goes in and see the new doctor.

“So you are Amy?”

“Yes.”

“You sir may stay outside till we are done.” said the doctor.

Anthony goes back out and sits down. He looks for the receptionist and realizes she is gone.

In the office Amy sits down on the seat.

“So Amy your records here says something about you have been seeing a girl that keeps saying Ryuusei?”

“Yeah. It is really weird. She will not tell me what the Ryuusei is. She just says protect it.”

“She wants you to protect the Ryuusei? From What?”

“I wish I knew. So do you have frequent contact with this girl?”

“Not anymore it has gone down since I started coming here.”

The doctor gets up and looks at her. “Tell me know. What was her name?”

“She never said.”

“DON”T lie to me! Was it Saki?!”

“I don’t know, she never said,” Amy said with a frightened look on her face.

The doctor then grabs her by the neck and slams her against the wall. Black light starts to flow from his sleeves and shirt. He then transforms into armor.

“Who are you?” she asks frighteningly.

“I am the one who will kill you!”

At that moment she lets out a big scream. Anthony runs up to the reception desk and sees the receptionist dead on the floor behind the desk. He rushes into the room.

“Jeson! Let her go!” Yelled Anthony.

“You know who I am Boy!?”

“Yes, Jeson of Ramador. Top Knight of the Ryuusei Knights! Protector To Saki.”

“You did your homework kid. Now I will kill you!” he let go of Amy and charges after Anthony. Anthony Doges him and changes into a battle suite.

“Amy! The Ryuusei are real, that girl was real. Now run and save yourself,” said Anthony.

“Right,” she says as she runs out the room and to the out side, “Anthony be safe.”

“Now Jeson it is me and you.”

“Prepare to die Child.” Jeson pulls a sword out and swings it towards Anthony. Anthony grabs his own sword, and blocks it. “Impresive child.” He pulls back and jumps behind Anthony. Anthony swings behind him and the sword is blocked by Jesons. Jeson raises his high and strikes but is blocked by Anthony. Anthony steps back and lunges forward and starts hacking a way and swinging at Jeson. ’Really impressive Child. You fight like you are from Gerin.”

“My family originated from Gerin. Now take this: Destructive wave!” as Anthony said That he put his hand out and an electric wave came toward Jeson. Jeson barely blocked the attack.

“This is not over Gerin Fighter. Mizuki is here as well.:

“What?”

“Exactly.” Jeson then disappears.

Anthony runs out of the building and looks at Amy

“What is wrong Anthony?”

“Chinami.”

“What?”

“I know why I am here with you Amy. It is because of Chinami. That guy back there is only one of seven that is here on earth.”

“Are they Aliens?”

“Something like that. But Chinami Chose you.”

“Who is Chinami?”

“You will know soon enough. For now we must leave this city.” They get into Anthony’s car. They leave for the city exit.
