Sadness (Mixed With Rage) {Brotherly Love #2}

Sadness (Mixed With Rage) {Brotherly Love #2}

A Poem by The Cunning Linguist
"

My feelings about my brother's death.

"
I feel my body shaking cause of sadness mixed with rage,
the tears fall as I close my eyes and think back to the days,
when you were known as "Moobie" and "Big Poob" did not exist,
don't try and stop me little brother see cause I insist,

on one last ride down Mem'ry Lane; this moisture in my eyes,
is how I have to cope with how I'm forced to say goodbye,
I've known you all your life and through this discourse I'ma try,
to tell you how I'm feeling while I loudly cry inside.

Muburak is your given name; the gift of given game,
I love you little brother; can't no n***a spit the same,
we came on up in 83 once known as Waverly,
the Ave became Ali Muhammad; it was crazy B.

Forever you'll be laid to rest; they went and slayed the best,
remember up on Aldine rockin shirts by Avirex?
Our beef was slowly cooked; my little brother slowly look,
at how the hood has got your killers somewhere close to shook.

It's now with heavy heart my dude I bid a true farewell,
you lived this life and not for nuthin; brother you fared well,
to see you in that box was devastating; sad to say,
that for eternity I'll shake from sadness mixed with rage.

Very powerful! Excellent cadence to your poem. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my sister when she was far too young, different circumstances, but through the fault of another person so I understand your rage.
