Less Than Nothing

Less Than Nothing

A Poem by The Cunning Linguist
"

Love can complete you....

"
Some things in this life won't work if they're not in cahoots,
I'm going for a walk but I'm a sock without a boot,
a ham without the burger is a horse that's not in glue,
I'm not a lot of things, I'm less than nothing without you.

A bird without it's wings will cease to zip throughout the sky,
to live a life without you means I choose to live a lie,
and all of that equates to living life without the truth,
a punch without a bruise I'm less than nothing without you.

There is no point in drinking if it doesn't get you drunk,
like there's no point in thinking if the thought's already thunk,
there's weed without the high let's go to Cali we won't fly,
or catch a train or drive there's just no way I will survive,

without you I would die my heart would stop, I wouldn't breathe,
it's deeper than just words, reality you will believe,
a tree without the root is like no cage inside a zoo,
I'm not ashamed to say I'm less than nothing without you.
