This Is NowA Poem by Tony Noon
There are stale tobacco worlds
where dayworn dreams pile high alongside cups, cans and cartons, remembering last night. These are the places where we are never sure. Where evidence has two sides or more and where we feel obliged to take on things we are unhappy with, to maintain a sense of propiety. A sense of uncomfortable truths becoming an acceptable form of this is now. Tony Noon © 2024 Tony Noon |
