The majority of people have spoken and their concerns need to be addressed. Whether total independence or more autonomy. They feel they are different people and they have been wronged and taken by force in the 20th. century. I hope they can solve it peacefully. An excellent and concise poem, sir Tony.

A pebble tossed into a lake can become a rush to shore or a gentle ebb; who knows in this case, but history shows that once a ripple starts it can become unstoppable.

I have been to Spain many, many times and I find the Spanish to be not only wonderfully laid back; but extremely welcoming and friendly. Be shame to drive a wedge, but it seems now to be the order of the day.

As far as my opinion goes they are all Spaniards at heart. I am no expert on their history. Just a shame another modern day peaceful people's movement has to descend into violence. The way of the world now.

Puerto Rico voted many times and the people. Voted to stay with the USA. USA give a lot of money to some states. California had big needs, no water source, cities falling apart and not enough taxes. California need the USA more than the USA need her.
