is strong in this one

Thought the Sith fireplace

Burns like a light-sabre through butter 

Much better than the old logs 

Especially Jame's Kirks - they were full of crap

This new coal helped me create...

I created Luke...luke-warm water

 with the heat of my fiery temperament

The emperor is a constant companion-set

since I became the hottest ticket here.

He even gave me a grate name

Yes...I like being called 

Hearth Vader !!

You just gotta laugh at the serious story behind this story, That Luke warm, was just to good to be true.

Those references are from back in the day Ken. When I could have told you how many hairs a wookie has on it's ****s. Now I am not so infatuated with sci-fi. I find that history and modern current affairs is wayyyy more exciting.

Now of course there is Sci Fi and there is Sci Fi. you've got your written gems Heilein's Time Enough for Love or The Mote in God's Eye by Niven and anything by Philip K Dick and some by Philip Jose Farmer. Then you got your filums of which the only one worth mentioning in my umble opinion is Balde Runner . The only two worth mentioning are Blade Runner and 2001. Or amongst those worth mentioning are Blade Runner, 2001, Metropolis. Start again there are some good Sci Fi filums that I like such as Blade Runner, 2001, Metropolis and Contact. Whew didn't think I'd make it then without mentioning the Spanish Inqusition, damn, damn damn.

Phillip K Dick's 'Man in the High Castle' is such a left-field but thoroughly entertaining read. It has been 'commandeered' by Netflix who have set about it with a big shitey stick but the original book is sound. Heinlein was my da's fav. I think Blade Runner was a game-changer. Alien too for tension. Poor Ridley Scott can't do right for doing wrong since Alien. It hangs around his neck like the proverbial millstone.
I loved contact for it's 'spirituality'. So much has been created to fill in schedule gaps but I agree with you on your pre-inquisition musings my friend xD
