It might be said that love is an overused word; 'love the look of that dress,' 'love chocolate,' etc, etc.
But that is perhaps not to understand love for what it is; rather than simply a word to describe something that is quite impossible to quantify.
Love must indeed never die, it cannot, for without it, our species would cease to exist.

The eternal optimist...lol.
I think I believe this...to not believe seems far too dismal to contemplate. Somewhere inside...I think I still hold onto hope...although my practical side knows love is probably something I won't find...and if I did, I probably wouldn't have the courage to grab the brass ring. Ahhh....nonetheless...hope lives on. Love is an integral part of human fabric, and that means that hope is, as well. Wonderful piece. Loved it.

Passionate about this style of poetry - creatively highlighting a feeling of expectation and the desire for 'Love' to conquer all!

This seems theoretically correct to me. But practical implications are far more than this, Tony. Hope is more like holding on to something which we'll never have...
Just voicing my opinion. I liked how short this piece was yet it made me think (somewhat 😉)

Thank you for thinking somewhat on this one - above all - thank you for reviewing it. I appreciate you lots.
That's a cute short poem tony :)
Hope is too glorified these days I feel ..
We keep hoping and our hairs turn grey...teeth fall off...we loose eye sight...and then the day comes to say hello to the earth....still we hold on to hope ..hoping someday things will change :p ... sorry for blabbering

My avatar is an actual slice of an onion that I cut up and I kept and froze - it reminds me of the saying - If you don't laugh, you cry. more..
